You can request your mail carrier pickup packages from your home or place of business. To schedule a pickup you’ll need to have at least one Priority Mail package or one First-Class Mail; you won’t be able to request a pick up with media mail packages only. When making the request, you have the option of having the carrier come at a specific time (for a fee), or to pick up during their normal route (no extra charge). Use the USPS.com website or USPS Mobile app to schedule a pickup. I found both tools work well. The app is great when I don’t have access to my desktop.
