As a vintage jewelry reseller, I’m always on the hunt for unique pieces, and this garage sale jewelry jackpot did not disappoint. From sterling silver to vintage pins, I couldn’t believe the treasures I found.
One of the first items that caught my eye was a US Navy sterling pin. I’ve come across military pins before, but this one was in excellent condition and made of sterling silver. These types of pins hold both historical value and craftsmanship, which makes them a sought-after item for collectors. It’s always exciting to find military memorabilia, especially when it’s as well-preserved as this one.
Right next to it was a vintage Boy Scout pin. I have a soft spot for items like these because they represent a piece of history. The Boy Scouts have a long-standing tradition, and pins like these are popular among both jewelry collectors and those with an interest in scouting history. The enamel and detail on this one were beautiful, and it’s certainly going to stand out in my shop.
Then, there was the real showstopper—a smoky quartz Vendome ring. Vendome is known for its elegant, high-end costume jewelry, and this ring was no exception. The smoky quartz stone was mesmerizing, and the setting was exquisite. Rings like this one, with a bold stone and fine craftsmanship, always attract attention. It’s the kind of statement piece that vintage jewelry lovers go crazy for.
Another gem I uncovered was a crown Trifari leaf brooch. Trifari is one of the most iconic names in vintage costume jewelry, and the crown mark indicates that this piece was made in the early to mid-20th century. The brooch has a timeless design, with intricate details in the leaf and a touch of sparkle. I know this will be a favorite among my customers.
I love Trifari jewelry. To learn more.
A true surprise was the thistle enamel brooch by Sol D’or. Sol D’or brooches are a bit harder to come by, and this one was in fantastic condition. The enamel work was stunning, with vibrant colors and detailed craftsmanship. This brooch has a strong, bold design, perfect for those who love a vintage statement piece.
I also found a delicate silver locket by Henry Griffiths & Sons. Lockets always carry an air of mystery, and this one was no different. The intricate engraving and classic silver tone make it a timeless piece. Henry Griffiths & Sons is known for their high-quality silver jewelry, and this locket will certainly appeal to collectors who appreciate fine vintage craftsmanship.
Lastly, I picked up a Taxco Mexican brooch. Taxco is famous for its silver jewelry, and this piece had the classic bold design that Taxco is known for. The brooch was in excellent shape, and I can’t wait to list it. Mexican silver is always in demand, and collectors love the artistry behind these pieces.
This haul was truly a jackpot for a vintage jewelry lover like me. I can’t wait to share these finds with my customers.
